We are pleased to kick off 2010 with a tour of the West Coast with our good friends North Mississippi Allstars. The tour gets started on January 27th and will make stops in Lake Tahoe, Santa Cruz and San Francisco. From there we head down to Los Angeles where we will join Dave Matthews guitarist Tim Reynolds and Widespread Panic alum Jerry Joseph at The Mint! Tickets are currently on sale and advance sales are encouraged. Thanks for all the support and we hope to see our West Coast crew out for these killer dates.
I’m excited to announce a new project called “Completely – The Jamie McLean Documentary”. Cameras have been following us around for the last few months to capture the journey we are on so you can be right there with us. From the stage, to the studio, to backstage and more, “Completely – The Jamie McLean Documentary” will be available weekly on www.JamieMcLean.com to show clips of what has been happening (and even some funny/embarrassing outtakes!). Take a look at the video for things to come in January. Hope you’re all well.
A few weeks ago we had the pleasure playing at The 5 Spot in Atlanta, GA in November 2009. George McConnell, of Widespread Panic, joined us onstage for a rockin’ rendition of Midnight Rider. Enjoy.

On November 9th we were invited to the Esquire SoHo Apartment in NYC. After exploring this amazing apartment we were asked to play in the Diesel Room – a full studio set up with Blue Microphone mics. We played a few songs including Ain’t Noboday Like My Baby off the new album. Enjoy the tunes.

Its been a busy month in New York City and beyond! Along with a big tour through the Southeast with the band I was asked to sit in with a few friends. Check out the photos from my sit in with Blues Traveler at Irving Plaza, Big Sam’s Funky Nation and Spin Doctor’s lead singer Chris Barron at Sullivan Hall.
Runnin Down A Dream…
I know who I’m going to be for Halloween. The fellas and I will be rocking out in Charleston for Halloween and as a special set we will be covering Tom Petty’s “Full Moon Fever” album in its entirety. Runnin Down a Dream, Yer So Bad, and Free Fallin will be in effect. Look for my top hat and everything. Happy Halloween!
Hey guys – I’ll be at Sullivan Hall tomorrow night. Kevin Bacon (yes that Kevin Bacon) will be joining the show along with Chris Barron who is the lead singer from the Spin Doctors. 8:30 sharp! Check out the video to find out more about the show.
Jamie McLean joined Blues Traveler at a sold out Paradise Rock Club in Boston last week. The band opened up the night with a full set of new and old material including “Can You Hear Me Now”, “Garden of Thieves”, “Completely” “Holy Water” and “Cupid’s Greatest Thief”. It seems the boys in Blues Traveler became quick fans of JMB. John Popper and Blues Traveler invited Jamie to join them on stage for a raging version of their classic tune “Mullin’ It Over” featuring a blazing guitar solo from Jamie as well as some firework trading of notes between Jamie and John Popper. Fans and critics alike enjoyed the sets. Enjoy the pictures below as well as a review of the concert from Enterprise News.
