Christopher Reeve Rocks New York City!

Tuesday, July 7th, 2009

Hey gang, I’ve been very fortunate to have become friends with an amazing
group from the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation. They are amazing
people fighting for a great cause. They are also big fans of my music and
have truly supported what I’m doing!

I’m honored to say they’ve asked me to play their first Reeve Rocks
concert in New York City on July 28th and I couldn’t be more excited to
support them. All the proceeds go to the foundation and the night is
going to rock! The club is AMAZING, the tickets are VERY reasonable and
totally tax deductible so I hope you’ll join me for a great concert and a
great cause. There will be an open bar, gift bags, and a raffle for some
super kick ass prizes (did someone say Bruce Spingsteen tickets and a meet
and greet?) If the open bar or raffle prizes sound interesting to you
please get your tickets in advance as the Premium and VIP areas are going
fast!

If, for some reason you can’t make it to New York for this show there is
also a button on their site to simply donate to the cause.

Hope to see you there, Jamie McLean

Good work Jamie and the boys! it is a great cause. I volunteered and then researched at the Miami. Project to Cure Paralysis when I first left the island. I just saw this post after thoroughly enjoying your performance at the Chicken Box here on Nantucket and purchasing Love your CD. Really great music. You have a new fan! I haven’t been this excited about a (new to me) band since Chucklehead here on ack years ago! Like Sting and the Police, you are able to carry a song very powerfully acoustically and with great originals. Looking forward to you all coming back to ack in Sept now I see – Sciasconset homeboy! Best of luck, Suzanne
